The North Shore Business Forum, Inc (NSBF) is a group of small business owners from Boston's North Shore who meet each Friday morning for informal lectures given by business owners on a wide variety of topics. Members also introduce and describe their businesses at each meeting. All business owners are welcome: future, past, profitable, experienced or beginning.

The NSBF meets each Friday morning from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. (registration starts at 7:15) at the Danversport Yacht Club, Route 62 East, Danvers, Massachusetts. Each meeting only costs a $9.00 admission fee which includes a continental breakfast. Check the notice board by the main door for the meeting room. Directions to Danversport Yacht Club. No Pre-Registration. Just show up! Sign-up takes place at each meeting.

Selling on Ebay
Kate Ritter, PC9Lives


This presentation will include:

  • How to decide what items to sell on Ebay.
  • How to open Pay Pal and Ebay accounts.
  • Demonstration on how to put an item up for sale.
  • How to upload a picture.
  • Best practices in buying/selling on Ebay (Ebay etiquette).

Kate has over twenty years of computer and support experience, both in the corporate environment and her own business. PC9LIVES is a computer repair/training company that supports home and small business customers on the North Shore. PC9LIVES supports customers with not only PC repair and training, but a file scanning service to create a paperless office as well as Ebay training.

Kate also owns Willow the Good Enterprises, a corporate team building company. Improvisation is used to teach communication, cooperation, listening and speaking skills. Improvisation teaches "yes, and" versus "yes, but" thinking for creative problem solving. She is also the author of "Apprentices of Connecticut, 1690-1900."
